Energy


What is it?

Energy allows you to play Levels in each Land.

What is it for?

It costs 10 Energy to play a Level.  Without sufficient Energy, you will be unable to play a Level. 

How do I get more Energy?

Energy replenishes at the rate of 1 every 6 minutes, up to a cap of 50 Energy.

You will also be awarded with 10 Energy if you pass a new Level or if you gain an additional Star by replaying a previously played Level.

You can also receive Energy as gifts from your Bakery Blitz friends and you can buy a Full Energy refill in the Bazaar!

Crystals


What are Crystals?

Crystals are the premium currency used in Bakery Blitz.

What do they do?

Crystals are used to upgrade Stations and Ingredients, and to purchase Boosts, Power-Ups, Full Energy refills, and to unlock Staffing Gates.

How do I get more Crystals?

While there are a few instances of obtaining Crystals in Bakery Blitz, the primary way of collecting Crystals is by purchasing them through the Bank.  

Crystals can also be earned by completing certain Land Goals in each Land.

Coins


What are Coins?

Coins are the common currency in Bakery Blitz!

What do they do?

Coins are used to purchase and upgrade your Ingredients and Stations.

How do I get more Coins?

Coins are primarily obtained by serving your Customers during a Level. You can also receive Coins by completing Levels and Land Goals, as gifts, and by purchasing them through the Bank.

Stars & Star Gates


What are Stars?

Stars are items that prove Sugar has spread sweetness across the Land and achieved Land Goals. 

What do Stars do?

Star Tickets are traded in at Star Gates to unlock new Levels.

How do I get more Stars?

Stars are awarded at the end of each Level depending on your performance during that Level. You will be awarded one Star for each star earned on a Level, up to a maximum of 3 Stars per Level.

You can also buy Stars with Crystals once you arrive at a Star Gate and do not have enough Stars to unlock the new Levels.

Staffing Gates

What are Staffing Gates?

Baroness von Bitter deployed several of her Bitter Melon Minions to block Sugar’s path! During your journey, you will encounter these Minions at Staffing Gates that you must pass in order to continue to the next Levels.

How do I get through Staffing Gates?

To unlock a Staffing Gate and continue your journey, you will have the following options:

Invite Friends to fill Staff slots and wait for them to accept your request.
Spend Crystals to fill the slots immediately.
Wait for 24 hours for the Staffing Gate to unlock.


Land Goals

What are they?

Each Land has a set of Goals you can complete to collect Star, Energy, Coins, Crystals, and/or Power-Ups & Boosts.

How do I complete Land Goals?

You can complete Land Goals while on your journey through the different Lands. To view your current Land Goals, click on the Goals icon in the lower right corner of your game.


Hearts & Heart Gem

The Hearts atop each Customer order represents that Customer’s patience. After you serve the Customer their order, their remaining Hearts will fill up the Heart Meter. Once the Heart Meter is completely full, your current Customers will get their Hearts refilled.


What is a Heart Gem?

When a Customer with full Hearts is served, they may drop a Heart Gem. Use the Heart Gem to fill up the Heart Meter completely and restore everyone’s Hearts to 3!

The Bazaar

The Bazaar is the ultimate marketplace in the Lands. From the Bazaar, you can upgrade your Stations and Ingredients, purchase Power-Ups and Boosts and refill your Energy supply.


General Gameplay

How Do I Play A Level?

When a Customer is interested in ordering something from Sugar’s Bakery, you will see a question mark appear over their head. When they are ready to order, the sweet treat they are interesting in ordering will appear in an order bubble. Remember, Sugar is very capable of multitasking, so try to complete as many orders as you can.


The Bazaar: Upgrading Your Stations And Ingredients!

In the Bazaar, there are two important upgrades that become available as you progress through the different Lands:

Stations- Upgrading your Stations makes them operate more quickly, and keeps food from burning or spoiling longer. With Station upgrades you will be able to cook and prepare the food faster, increasing the number of orders you can fulfill!
Ingredients- Increase the value of each order by upgrading your Ingredients. Your Customers will pay more for ingredients that have been upgraded through the Bazaar.
Please note that not all Stations and Ingredients upgraded in the Bazaar will be available to you in every Land. Additionally, the further you progress in Bakery Blitz the more Stations and Ingredients you will have available and will be able to unlock!

What Are Power-Ups And Boosts?

Power-Ups and Boosts increase your chances at passing Levels.

You can view and purchase Boosts in the Bazaar, at the start of each Level, and at the Post-Level screen if you did not pass the Level. Be sure to activate your Boosts at the start of each Level once you’ve purchased them.  


You can view and purchase Power-Ups in the Bazaar, from the Pause menu in a Level, and the expandable Power-Ups menu in the upper-right corner of the gameplay screen. Once you purchase a Power-Up, activate it by tapping on it when the Power-Up menu is expanded; the menu will collapse and your Power-Up will take effect.


The following Power-Ups and Boosts are available:

Sugar Rush -- Sugar takes up speed walking!
Big Tipper -- Customers will leave bigger tips for a short time!
Heart Blast -- Customers have full hearts for additional time!
Let ‘em Wait -- Customers find inner peace and lose Hearts at a slower rate.
No Burn, No Spoil -- All products are protected from burning or spoiling.
Extra Time -- More time is added to the clock in Timed Levels.
Lickety Split -- All machines and Stations operate at warp speed!

How Do I Unlock A New Land?

Once you have passed all the Levels in a Land, you will travel to the next Land. There will be a Gate at the beginning of the next Land; you will need to pass this Gate to begin playing the new Levels.

Meet Your Customers And Learn Their Preferences!

Certain customers have strong preferences and so they may frequently order the same thing. If you think you can guess what a customer is going to order, try to start making it before they even order!

Customer Twists and Quirks:

Starting in the Cherryglow Forest, each new Customer introduced will add a new spin to the Levels.

Clockmaker: Time is of the essence! On timed levels only, the Clockmaker might give you additional time when you serve him.

Beekeeper: Everyone loves the Beekeeper! When the Beekeeper approaches the counter, the customers standing next to him will gain half a heart.

Queen Gwen de la Creme: The Jealous Queen! When others are served before Queen Gwen de la Creme, the other customers will lose half a heart.

Cringe: The Undercover Minion! When Cringe gets upset, a Station in the Bakery is disabled until he is served.   

Glassblower: Glass Hearts! When the Glassblower approaches the counter, the adjacent customer Hearts will turn to glass. But be careful, once the Glassblower leaves, any other customer’s glass Hearts will shatter and they will leave, too.

Viking: The Angry Viking! In timed levels only, when the Viking pays for his order, he might take away seconds from the clock!

What Is A Last Chance? How Do I Use It?

If you were unable to pass a Level, you will be given a “Last Chance” opportunity to serve 3 additional Customers to reach your Goal or to increase your Level Star performance.

You can purchase a Last Chance using Crystals in the Last Chance window.  



Why Can’t I Pass A Staffing Gate?

If you are having issues progressing through a Staffing Gate, please try the following troubleshooting tips:
Add more Friends
Crystals -- Move forward by purchasing the remaining Staffing Gate slots with Crystals

Help! I Keep Placing Finished Orders In Stations When Picking Up Another Order.

Sugar is able to multi-task and carry two orders at a time. If you are carrying an order that can be dropped off at a Station you are picking up an order from, the 1st order will be automatically dropped off. In most Stations, you will be able to pick that order up again by clicking/touching it on the screen.

Help! My Cake Stacker Is Stacking The Cake In The Wrong Order!

To correctly stack your cakes, please make sure you are placing the bottom layer in the left plate and the top layer in the right plate.

Help! My Customer Isn’t Accepting Their Order. What Should I Do?

If your Customer is not accepting their order, this means the order is not correct. Double check the details of the order, you may have made it the wrong shape or used an incorrect ingredient. Another option is to place the order in the Holding Plate and making the order again.

Trash Can: How Do I Get Rid Of An Unwanted Or Wrong Order?

If your Customer has left or if you made the order wrong, you can get rid of the order by clicking on the Trash Bin.
Keep in mind that every time you thrown an order out, you will be losing Coins for that Level.


What Is Chaining? How Do I Get A Bonus From Chaining?
Collecting the payments and tips from multiple Customers in a row will create a chain reaction - or Chaining! By forming Chains, you will get extra Coins on that Level and give you a boost to reach your Level Goal!

Gifts & Invites

Message Center: What Is It And Where Do I Accept Gifts? (Mobile And Web)
The Message Center allows you to accept Invites, Staffing Requests and Gifts in one quick and easy location.

If you are playing on a computer, click on the “Messages” tab at the top of the game to open the Message Center. To accept Gifts and Requests, simply click on the “Accept and Send” button.

If you are playing on a mobile device, click on the Mailbox icon in the lower left corner of the game screen. To accept Gifts and Requests, simply click on the “Accept” button.

In order to send and receive Gifts in the mobile version, you will need to connect your account to Facebook. Click here for more information on how to sync your account to Facebook on your iOS device or Android device.

How Do I Invite Friends To Bakery Blitz?

If you are playing on a computer, , click on the Allies tab at the top of the game. This brings you to a page that will allow you to send invite requests to your friends. The more Allies you have, the easier it will be to get their help passing Staff Gates!


If you are playing on a mobile device, click on the Mailbox icon in the lower left corner of the game screen and tap the Messages icon. Then, tap the Invite button to choose from a list of friends to invite to Bakery Blitz. You will need to be connected to Facebook to invite friends.  


Are There Rewards For Inviting Friends To Play Bakery Blitz?

Yes! You and a friend can get free Crystals when they enter a redemption code you send them.
Simply click on the “Free Crystals” icon on the lower left corner of the game screen to view your code. The code will be a 12-digit alphanumeric sequence and will be unique to your account. Click on the “Copy to Clipboard” button to copy your code to send to your friends via text, email, social media - however you prefer to communicate!


How Do I Redeem A Code?

Log into Bakery Blitz
Click on the “Free Crystals” button in the map, then the “Redeem Code” button in the Free Crystals window.


If you are on a mobile device, you will have to connect to Facebook before you redeem your code.
Enter the Code in the provided box. Be sure to enter it exactly as it was given to you. Don’t add any extra spaces or change small letters to capitals. 
Click on the “SUBMIT” button. 


If the Code is successful, you’ll see the reward that you earned. 
Click on “GREAT!” to close the window and play Bakery Blitz!


Please note that while you can receive Crystals from multiple friends entering the code you sent to them, a code may only be redeemed once per recipient.

Known Issues

Help! The Energy Gifts I Accepted Were Not Credited To My Account. What Should I Do?

There is a known issue where accepting Energy gifts does not register on Facebook. Please start by accepting just a few Energy gifts at a time and refreshing the game afterwards. After the game is refreshed the Energy should appear on your account.

Please note that there is a max limit of 75 daily Gifts limit and the Energy bar maxes out at 75. If your Energy is at 75 already, we recommend playing before accepting more gifts.

[Resolved] Help! My Game Is Cut Off! What Should I Do?

If you are unable to see the Cake Decorations (ie. strawberries, lemons, etc) or the button for the Power-Ups on the top right of the screen, then your game is being cut off.

A quick fix for this issue is to maximize your screen. Simply drag out the side of your browser window with your mouse to expand or hit the "maximize" button on the top corner of your browser.

If your game screen is still being cut off, please try raising your computer's screen resolution by going to your computer's display settings and adjust your resolution from there.

To adjust your screen resolution on a PC:

Open Screen Resolution by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, and then, under Appearance and Personalization, clicking Adjust screen resolution.
Click the drop-down list next to Resolution, move the slider to the resolution you want, and then click Apply.
Click Keep to use the new resolution, or click Revert to go back to the previous resolution.
To adjust your screen resolution on a Mac:

Choose Apple Menu > System Preferences, click Displays, then click Display.
Select Scaled, then select one of the scaled resolution options
You can also reset a zoomed-in screen with command+0 (⌘+0)


[Resolved] Android: Switching Connected Facebook Accounts In A Session Causes Game To Crash

There is a known issue where disconnecting your Facebook account on your Android device will cause the Facebook Login pop-up to reappear. If you attempt to log back into the game with another Facebook account, the game will crash
To avoid this issue, please click the “X” button on the top left corner of the Facebook Login pop-up to close it. If you want to log into Facebook with another account, please force close the game and restart the Bakery Blitz app.
 Please follow these steps to force close your app:
Open the Settings app
Choose Apps
Touch the Running tab to view only active or running apps
Choose the Bakery Blitz app
Touch the Stop or Force Stop button
