FarmVille 2 Country Escape-Ancient Astronomers Official Guide

The farm’s calendar has been lost. Astronomer Atelmy is here to design a new calendar, and you must help him to gather enough votes to convince Juliana Augustine to accept the new calendar.

The feature will unlock at Level 12. A pop-up invitation will appear on your screen showing the Ancient Astronomers Event. You may need to force close the game or reboot your device to see the latest update

Visit The Plaza and witness the epic encounter of Astronomer Atelmy and Empress Juliana Augustine.

To start the event, tap the Telescope button. 

The Ancient Astronomer event will have 2 stages. The 1st stage will run from February 19 until February 24, 2020, and the 2nd stage will start on February 25 and will end on March 1, 2020. You will have 12 days to complete the 2 stages and win rewards!

Get Gold on either stage to earn the proud Pompous Pup as a permanent farmhand. Get Gold in both stages to win the permanent farmhand Sun Shepherd, he is the brightest star around! 

You need to craft items and fulfill orders to complete the stages. Once event orders are completed, you will earn Extra Time Points.

Ancient Astronomer Event Leaderboard

Complete as many orders as you can to earn more Extra Time Points so you can move up the Leaderboard!

Leaderboard Rewards

Stage 1

No Trophy: 5 Black Olives, 5 Marbles

Bronze: 1 Silver Stamp, 1 Padlock, 5 Golden Gloves

Silver: 2 Gold Stamps, 2 Padlocks, 10 Keys, Eggtastic Pin

Gold: Win Gold either on Stage 1 OR Stage 2 to win Pompous Pup (Permanent Farmhand)

If you will win Gold on Stage 2 but not on Stage 1, you can still get Pompous Pup (Permanent Farmhand) as your reward.

Stage 2

No Trophy: 1000 Coins

Bronze: 1 Silver Stamp, 1 Padlock, 5 Golden Gloves

Silver: 2 Gold Stamps, 2 Padlocks, 10 Keys, All Mine Pin

Gold: Pompous Pup (Permanent Farmhand) OR an upgrade to Sun Shepherd (Permanent Farmhand) if you won the Pompous Pup in Stage 1.

Boosts: Silver, Gold and Diamond Compass

You can earn more Extra Time Points by using Compass boosts! Once activated, it will last for 1 hour, and you can only select one boost at a time.

The Silver Compass helps you win 50% more points.

The Gold Compass helps you get double the leaderboard points.

You can upgrade the Gold Compass to a Diamond Compass to get even more points.

Time Capsule Bonus

Time Capsule Bonus is a Mystery reward that you can get by earning Extra Time Points! Fill up the bar by fulfilling more orders!

Temporary Farmhands: Juliana Augustine and Astronomer Atelmy

You can purchase Juliana Augustine and/ or Astronomer Atelmy as farmhands to help you complete the Ancient Astronomers event. You’ll have a higher chance of finding rare event items by using these farmhands.

Note: Juliana Augustine and Astronomer Atelmy are temporary farmhands, and will only stay on your farm for the whole duration of the event. To maximize the benefits they'll give you, it's best to get them as early as possible.

Yellowfin Tuna - Observatory, Merryweather Mine, Prized Sheep, Prized Pig, and Prized Reindeer

Marble - Observatory, Pappy's Pond, Pier, Mallard Mill, Prized Horse, and Prized Goat
