Solitaire Arena-F.A.Q. Domande Frequenti

How Do I Play Solitaire Arena?

Play a match against another player, in real time.

You and your opponent have the same shuffle (same cards, same order).

The basic rules of Solitaire still apply.

Each tableau pile begins with one upturned card. Build the foundation (light rectangles in the upper right) up by suit from Ace (low in the game) to King. Build the tableau piles down by alternating colors. Empty piles can be filled with a King or pile with a King. Flip cards from the stock (draw pile) to add to the foundation and tableau piles. The goal is to move all cards to the foundation.

You see your opponent’s foundation in real time.

Move cards to the foundation to score one point. Score an extra point by sending the card before your opponent.

Do I Have To Buy Wands To Win?

There isn't any sort of penalty for players who do not purchase Magic Wands. Magic Wands are a boost, however, and can be used by an opponent to gain an advantage. Without using wands, the key is to be quicker than your opponent so you score more points. Also, depending on how competitive you want to play, you could opt to end the game early if you have a healthy lead that you don't think your opponent can catch up to in the allotted time.

Why Isn't The Leaderboard Reflecting My Recent Win?

Most of the time, tournament wins are reflected on the leaderboard almost immediately. However, it make take up to 10 minutes for a tournament win to reflect on the leaderboard.

How Can I Skip The Invite Friends Window?

You can close the invite friends window by clicking "X" in the top right, or by clicking "Select None" then "Continue"

What Power Ups Are Available In Solitaire Arena?

Sometimes you might need a bit of assistance while playing. These three power ups can help you when you need a boost:

Undo undoes the last move. However, this power up cannot be used if the last card was sent to the foundation.

Hint helps you by indicating the best available move.

Magic Wands are the most powerful boost! Using a Magic Wand moves a face-down card from a tableau pile to the foundation. This scores points and, potentially, opens new moves for continued play.
What Do I Do If I Get Stuck?

If you become stuck, you have 2 options:

- Use a Magic Wand to send a face-down card from the tableau piles to the foundation to gain points and, possibly, open more moves.

or

- Press "new game" to end the current game. If you're winning, there will be a short waiting time to give your opponent a chance to catch up. The player with the most points when the game is ended wins.

How Can I Use My Magic Wands?

Magic Wands are power boosts! They can be used to:

- skip the waiting time after losing a tournament.
- move a face-down card from a tableau pile to the foundation. This scores points and can open up additional moves. Use this to speed past your opponent or get unstuck.
- rematch your opponent in practice mode.

How Do I Get More Magic Wands?

There are a variety of ways to gain Magic Wands:

1. Place in the top three globally. First place receives 10 Magic Wands, second place receives seven and third place receives five.

2. Claim your free Magic Wand from Extras once every 24 hours.

3. Invite new players to join the game. You'll receive 1 Magic Wand for each  new friend that begins playing.

4. Purchase Magic Wands from the "Extras" window.

How Can I End A Game?

You can end your current game once you've shuffled through the deck at least two times. To end the game, click "New Game." If you're in the lead, there is a brief waiting period to allow your opponent time to catch up. The player in the lead when the game ends is the winner.

How Do I Request A Rematch?

When you've completed a game, you can click the rematch button to challenge your opponent to another round. Remember, there are no rematches in tournaments and, if you lose a game in practice mode, it will cost you 1 Wand to send a rematch request to your opponent.
