Captain Redmane’s pirate crew has had an uneasy love-hate relationship with some of the larger creatures with whom they share the open seas. Renowned marine biologist, Marina Day, is here to help educate the pirate Captain about these special marine animals.

Get ready to meet and learn to live more consciously alongside some majestic squids, sharks, and whales!

If you’re at least Level 9, you’ll receive a pop-up invitation for the Friends from the Deep Event. You will need to force-close the game to see the update or even reboot your device.

Start collecting the sea creatures from the deep by tapping the Observation Campthat is placed near the beach area.

Each of the sea creatures in the collection will be attracted by a different kind of lure. There are three types of lures that you can either craft or find:

Fish Crate - You can find Squid with this lure.

Magnosa - You can find Sharks with this lure.

Krill - Find Whales with this lure.

Once you have the required lure, drag it to one of the three Platforms to attract a sea creature.

After the lure has been placed, the attracted sea creature will show up. Tap the Start Tagging button to see what tasks you’ll need to do to tag it.

You can tag a sea creature by supplying items for it before the timer runs out and it disappears.

Once you have successfully tagged the sea creature, collect your rewards for a job well done!

There will be some sea creatures that have already been tagged and will return. Go ahead and tag it again as this is a way to get lures! Re-tagging Squids is the only way to get lures for the Sharks, and re-tagging Sharks is the only way to get lures for the Whales!

You will be tagging thirteen sea creatures in total. So keep placing those lures and supplying items! You can view all the sea creatures you’ll be looking for by tapping on Marina’s Map.

Tag all the sea creatures on your Collection to unlock the Event Bonus and win exclusive bonus rewards!

Unlock Unlimited Sunshine

Find all the 13 sea creatures in the collection to win Cassidy the Baby Humpback Whale. From the Store, place him on your island and he’ll give you one hour of free unlimited Sunshine for 10 days!

Helping Hand Tokens

Join a Beach Club so you can share Helping Hand Tokens with your Club buddies! These tokens will let them complete orders and get progress for free without using crafts or Gems! These Tokens are shared automatically in your Beach Club chat when you re-tag Sharks and Whales. You can’t earn them for yourself, but you can use the Tokens that your Club friends who also re-tag Sharks and Whales share in your Club chat. Complete your collection by helping each other out!

Please note: You’ll be able to use up to 3 Tokens per day.

Temporary Landmark: The Kraken

Search the Kraken, the magnificent deep-sea octopus, for event items and use these to craft supplies to tag the sea creatures.

Temporary Guides: Captain Redmane and Jolly Roger

You can hire Captain Redmane and/or Jolly Roger as Temporary Guides to help you out during the event. They will give you a higher chance of finding rare ingredients.

Note: Captain Redmane and Jolly Roger are temporary guides, and will only stay on your island for the duration of the Friends from the Deep event.
