FarmVille 2 Tropic Escape-Hang Glider Races Official Guide

Self-proclaimed “hang gliding nuts” Dante and Esmeralda Lopez have checked themselves into our resort for their annual hang gliding frenzy. They do it every year at Thanksgiving and there’s a special reason why. Several years ago, Dante lost his leg in a gliding accident. Awful as it was, it didn’t put him off the sport. Instead, he’s more thankful than ever for the life he’s got, (although with a touch more caution). Now every year on Thanksgiving, the Lopezes go gliding to remind themselves of their gratitude for all that life has given them.

Just as we’re sniffling over Dante’s story, Victoria Fiske, (the millionaire entrepreneur who brought us the hot air balloon adventure,) rolls up to tell us how inspired she was by Dante’s tale. So, she’s sponsoring a hang gliding tournament in their name. Even better, it’s going to happen right here. Let’s take it to the skies!

We’re invited to join the Hang Glider Races for exciting rewards, glory, and loads of terrific fun!

If you are at least Level 9, you will be invited to join the “Hang On!” event. You will need to force-close the game to see the update, or even reboot your device.

Start off the event by tapping on the Launching Platform that is located near the beach area.

In the Hang On! event, you will be racing against other players. There will be 5 Races and each race will last for 2 days. Each race will have its own rewards. Win all 5 races to get Dante and Esmeralda as your temporary Island Guides for 10 days!

For your Glider to move forward in the race, you will need to earn Race Points.

To earn Race Points, you must complete the Energy Objectives in the Orders tab

You can collect different types of Energy by crafting orders.

After crafting an order, simply tap on the Supply button.

For some of the Orders that you need to complete, you can get the special Mill ingredient Honeycomb from the Bee Box. The Honeycomb can be used to craft Honey Butter, Beeswax Balm, Sports Drink, and Nut Brittle.

After you have collected the different types of Energy for an objective, tap on the Complete button.

Note: Energy expires after every race. You'll need to collect more every time a new race starts so keep the supplies coming!

In the Orders tab, you’ll also be able to see your Daily Objective Goal. You’ll also collect Badges for meeting your daily goals. The Badges unlock Daily Goal rewards which will change for each round. Complete your Daily Goal within the allotted time.

Tap on the Race tab to see your Glider’s progress.

In the Race tab, you can see your progress in the race as well as the progress being made by your opponents.

You can check your rank in the current Race and the Race Points you have earned in the counter at the lower-left corner of the board.

Point Boosts: To increase the number of Race Points you receive, use these Point Boosts: 1.5x Boost, 2x Boost, and 3x Boost.

• Spend 30 Treasure keys and get x1.5 more points for 4 hours.

• Spend 40 Gems and get x2 more points for 4 hours.

• You can upgrade x2 Boost to x3 Boost for 20 Gems to get even more points!

Event Rewards:

Win all 5 races to get the best rewards!

Win 3 races - Harvestable Trampoline (deco)

Win 4 races - Temporary Island Guide Dante for 10 days

Win 5 races - Temporary Island Guide Esmeralda for 10 days

Personal Goals:

As you progress in the race, you will reach your Daily Goals! You will earn Badges through daily objectives and will be counted in your Milestones. Reach a specific milestone and earn rewards!

3 Badges: 1000 Coins, 5 Quick Sands, 5 Sunshines, 4 Bronze Sand Dollars, 4 Orange Energy

5 Badges: 1000 Coins, 1 Rope, 4 Treasure Keys, 2 Silver Dollars, 2 Blue Energy

7 Badges: 1000 Coins, 1 Hang Glider Floatie, 5 Gems, 3 Blue Energy

10 Badges: 2000 Coins, 20 Gems

Temporary Place of Interest: Audience Stand

The Audience Stand is a temporary landmark where you can search for ingredients needed to make supplies.

Temporary Island Guides: Victoria Fiske and Vin Cruzo

You can rent Victoria Fiske and/or Vin Cruzo as temporary Island Guides to help you out during the event. They will give you a higher chance of finding rare ingredients at the Audience Stand and other Landmarks.

Note: Victoria Fiske and Vin Cruzo are temporary Island Guides, and will only stay on your farm for the whole duration of the Hang On! event
