Chiefs. After a lot of hard work we are finally ready to present The Tribez, with a beautiful new interface! At a glance, you might think that much has changed, and you may find some elements unfamiliar. But the guide below will show you that all the new elements will be easy to get used to! Furthermore, we are always keeping our eyes open for your feedback and comments, based on which we will continue to add further improvements to the interface.
Here’s what you’ll see on your screen in the new update! Now let’s take a closer look at every new element here:
Experience & Happiness level
These large bars display your player level and experience (the blue bar), and your level of happiness (the yellow bar). Click on either bar once and you will see precisely how much experience or happiness you require to reach the next level! You can also see your full amount of current happiness by opening the Store.
Population counter
Your islanders are ready for work, and this number is going to show you exactly how many hardworking tribezmen are at your disposal! The first number displays the quantity of available tribezmen currently not busy with any tasks, while the second number displays your current island’s total population.
Resources
Here you can see the quantity of your resources. Want to see a handy trick? Click the resource counter!
Clicking on the resource counter, displays the full table of resources you own and their amounts! Here you can choose which resource to display on your screen. You need only click on the desired resource. That way you’ll always be able to see this resource and how much of it you have left!
Gold & Gems
Here you can see how much Gold and Gems you have! If your riches exceed 99,999,999, you will see the number “99,999,999+”. A sure sign of being a prospering Chief!
Additional Buttons
Push the button with the arrow you can see right under your Gold & Gem counter, and you will reveal several handy buttons! Push the button with the arrow again, to hide most of them, but while we’re looking at all of them, let’s see what each one does left to right.
The button with the gear, opens the Settings menu;
- The button with the transparent house next to it, will hide all buildings and objects, making it easier to place your buildings and decorations. Push it again to make all objects visible again;
The button with the scroll will show you the latest in-game news;
- The button with the hand hovering over a coin, will prompt you to automatically collect all available income from your current island;
- Finally, the rightmost button with the arrow will hide all the extra buttons, save for itself and the Settings button.
Offers & Boosts
Here you will see currently available offers and active boosters! You will see a timer under each of the large icons. It will tell you how long each offer will remain available, or how long your booster will remain active! Active boosters are always placed under offers.
Quests
By pressing on the book on the left part of the screen, you’ll see a list of quests available to you! Pressing any empty part on the map, or opening any other window, hides the list into a book again. From time to time you might see an exclamation mark over the book. It will show up whenever you make progress in a quest, or receive a brand new quest to take on!
Clan Menu
This large button with the cup on it, will open the Clan menu! Create your own clan or seek an existing clan that suits your fancy! This button will appear once you reach player level 13.
Friends Menu
This button with tribezmen on it, next to the Clan button, will open your friends menu! This button will appear at player level 9.
Modules Menu
By pressing the button with the map, you will open an additional menu. Let’s examine the five buttons at the bottom of this screen left to right.
From here you can:
- Move between islands;
- Choose a Competition;
- Open the Spirit Wheel;
- Head to your Chief’s Residence. This button will appear at player level 20, once you gain access to the Chief’s Residence;
- Go Sailing. This button appears at player level 28, once you gain access to the Sailing module.
Inventory
The button with the backpack opens your inventory, where you can find all of your items, including items required for Competitions!
Store
Press the button with the hammer and you will open the store menu, where you can select one of many buildings available to you for construction!
Additional info
If you have been playing since before this update, you may notice a couple of buttons missing: the button with the camera, and the button to zoom in and out. Don’t worry! These functions are still available with your device’s buttons. To take a screenshot, the exact buttons depend on the device model you are using, but most phones can take a screenshot by simultaneously holding down the screen lock button and the volume control. In order to zoom in or out, push the screen with two fingers, pinch them open to zoom in, or pinch them closed to zoom out!
If you are only starting out in The Tribez as a brand new player, you might not see all the buttons described above. They will appear gradually as you increase your player level, as you unlock new aspects of the game, and with them - new elements of the interface.
The interface update is being implemented gradually, so in certain modules, you may still see the old versions of buttons and other elements. We continuously gather your feedback and hope that once you’ve spent some time getting accustomed to the new interface, you will share your opinion with us! Enjoy the game, Chiefs!
