FarmVille Tropic Escape-The Serpent Guardian Event Official Guide

Every century, Taniwha, the guardian of the sea emerges from the depths of the ocean in the form of a sea serpent. Islanders spend roughly two weeks making offerings to Taniwha so that they’re protected from the dangers of the deep for the next 100 years. Domingo’s cousin, Hilo, pays us a visit with his girlfriend, Naia and her brother, Peni. There isn’t a living soul on the island who witnessed Taniwha’s last visit, but luckily, Naia grew up at sea and learned all about Taniwha at her grandfather’s knee, so she knows just what to do.

If you’re at least level 9, you will receive a pop-up to the Serpent Guardian event. You will need to force-close the game to see the update, or even reboot your device.

Start off the event by tapping on the Altar area which is used to make offerings to Taniwha. It is an area near the beach which gets improved and decorated while you finish each stage.

Craft items from materials found around the Sinkhole. The more items you find, the more rewards you earn.

Earn Gold Rank at the end of Round 1 on February 24 to win Peni, Naia's younger brother and the warrior of Hilo's group, as your farmhand for the next 20 days! If you manage to stay in Gold Rank during the second Round, which ends March 2, you will also win a harvestable Altar deco!

Watch out for Taniwha Offering appearing along the beach! Click on them to earn extra Guardian points!

Temporary Place of Interest: Taniwha Sinkhole

Guides can search for items around the Sinkhole to find ingredients and crafts to be used in decorating the Altar. This is a temporary area where you can search for event items needed during the Serpent Guardian event.

You can purchase the wanderer Hilo, Domingo's cousin who has been voyaging across the wold for the last decade and/or Naia, his girlfriend, as Temporary Guides to help you out during the Serpent Guardian event. They will give you a higher chance of finding rare ingredients and more!
