Everything About the Leagues

Every active club is involved in the League Tournaments. If your cafe club hasn't done any kind of activity for the last week (chat, cafe club task etc.), you'll not be able to join the League Tournaments.Before each tournament season starts, league groups are formed with random clubs chosen from the same league. So, if you are in League 3, you'll be matched with other Cafe Clubs from League 3 and you'll all race against one another to League up to League 2. 

Each Cafe Club consists of members. These members all have a tasks list they can complete. These tasks differ from member to member. These tasks are the only source for tournament points.According to these tournament points, at the end of each tournament season, clubs in the same league group are lined and the first three clubs jumps to the better league, while the last three clubs falls to the lower league. Tournament points are reset after each tournament session.

Each task has a time limit and after it is taken by a player, it should be completed within the given time. Available tasks increase as you league up. When a members completes a task, a gift is sent to all the other club members, and the player who completes a task wins a Golden Favor. With that Golden Favor, awesome decorations with benefits can be purchased from the Favors Building. There are three types of gifts: Bronze Gift, Silver Gift and Golden Gift. As you league up, you get a better chance at earning Silver or Golden gifts.

League 1 is the best League whereas League 10 is the lowest League.

There is no option to opt out of Leagues and Tournaments, but Clubs can simply ignore this feature. However, the winners of the tournament sessions in each League get amazing rewards! And these rewards get better and better as you League up!

What's Cafe Rating and how do I increase it?

The cafe rating shows how you are doing in your business. The higher the rating is, the more customers you get to host in your place -which means more money! The perks of having a higher cafe rating aren't limited to having more customers. The celebrities you host will give you bonus rewards and the customers will leave more tips after they eat if you have a high rating.

In order to increase your total cafe rating, you need to work on all 6 categories to hit 5 stars!

Free Space

This rating is determined by the space the customers have to walk around in your place. When things get stuffy, they start to complain. 

So, the roomier your place is, the higher this rating will be.

Capacity

This rating is determined by the number of tables and chairs you have in your place. The customers might expect to see many empty seats to give you good remarks. 

So, it's always a good idea to add some tables and chairs if your rating is hanging low.

Decoration

This rating is determined by the amount of coins and cash you spend to decorate your cafe. Only the decoration items (floor and wall) are taken into account for this category.

So, keep that place nice and beautiful to make it really shine!

Vending Machines

This rating is determined by the number of filled vending machines you have in your place. 

So, remember to keep your machines full and add extra ones when customers are getting grumpy.

Fun

This rating is determined by the number of charged fun items you have in your place.

So, it's always a good idea to recharge those fun things to keep your customers happy and avoid the sad faces.

Food Mastery

This rating is determined by the number of dishes you have mastered. To learn more about mastering dishes and the perks of it, visit the Food Mastery article.

So, keep cooking and be the master chef in your own kitchen to keep those customers coming in!

*** Remember that the requirements or customer needs increase according to your level. So your rating might drop when you level up

How do I master dishes and what's it good for?

Each dish has different time requirements for mastery. Some of them can be mastered pretty quickly while others might take days and even weeks to master - according to how much you play, of course. Simply check your cookbook to see how many times you need to cook a spesific dish and your progress. And the golden chef hat on top left corner of your cookbook shows the total number of dishes you have mastered so far.

Aside from being the master chef in the kitchen and the joy it brings, mastering dishes is also profitable! Here are the perks of it:

* The total serving amount might increase which is handy if you like having your counters full all the time!

* The XP you get might increase which is good for leveling up faster!

* The unit price might increase which means you'll be earning more coins for each serving!

* The cooking time of the dish might decrease which is useful especially if you like binge-cooking!

* The last but not least, the cost of the dish might decrease! And well, it's good for your wallet, of course!

What are Fun Items?

Simply; they make it fun for everyone!

Customers need some fun around the place and one way of rating your cafe is by rating the fun aspect. You can find fun items in your decoration menu and place them in your cafe. They look pretty AND they are useful.

Each of them has its own charge time and they come as charged. You need to reactivate them when they stop in order to benefit from them. And reactivating them is completely free!

What are Vending Machines?

They are the spice to your dishes and the variety to your service, not to mention the profit you're gonna make!

Customers love getting various stuff from the vending machines such as soda, fruit juice or even energy drinks! And they rate your cafe according to how many filled vending machines you have.

The machines come fully filled and customers consume the products in time. Once they're empty, you need to refill them. And hey, refilling is totally free!

What are Spin Tokens and where can I get them?

You get a "free spin" every 12 hours but you can always spin the wheel using the tokens. Tokens drop from various actions in the game such as visiting a friend, leveling up a celebrity, completing catering orders, etc. 

You can also buy spin packs in the shop where you can find discounts!

What are Premium Boosters?

Premium Boosters help you manage your cafe in various ways such as cleaning up the place automatically or providing more sales! Some of them need to be charged regularly while some others work on their own. If it's a chargable item, you need to charge it after you place it in your cafe. Let's take a closer look at each of them:

e-Business Station

When you place this item to your cafe, you'll get regular orders from celebrities which will boost your income and reward you with special gifts when you complete a certain amount of them in a fixed period of time. You can see your orders by tapping on the item and you don't need to charge it!

Anti Spoil Machine

It helps keeping your food fresh as long as it's charged so you won't have to deal with spoiled dishes on your stoves.Cleaner BotThis machine cleans the floor dirt automatically as long as it's charged. You don't have to worry about a single drop on the floor while you have it on!

Drink Supplier

This machine doubles the capacity of your vending machines as long as it's charged which means that you'll have more products in them and make a profit!

Fresh Vegetables

This item increases the XP you get from cooking dishes by 20% as long as it's charged, so it helps you progress faster in the game!

FridgeThe best place to store your dishes and keep them fresh! For more information, check out the "How do I store dishes?" article.

Online Order

This machine helps you sell more dishes from the counters automatically as long as it's charged. You can see the "Online Order" tween come out of the dish when a serving is sold online.

Service Cart

This item boosts your cafe rating to 5 Stars as long as it's charged! For more information on cafe rating, check out the "What's Cafe Rating and how do I increase it?" article.

Stove Cleaner

This machine helps you clean the stoves automatically as long as it's charged. Keep it up and you won't have to worry about cleaning every single stove after serving dishes!

Tip Box

This machine collects all your machines automatically as long as it's charged. Don't lose a penny even if you're away and collect them when you return!

With all the help you get from premium boosters, your business will shine among others!

What are Permanent Premium Boosters?

If you liked Premium Boosters, you'll LOVE the permanent versions!

Permanent versions of the boosters work the same way as normal ones but they come with a great plus; you don't need to charge them, THEY WORK FOREVER! Once you place one of them in your cafe, you don't have to think about checking the time anymore.

What are Sauces?

There are 4 different sauces which are used for selling dishes, speeding them up or unspoiling them. You can either craft your own sauces with drops or buy them from the shop. There are various drops for each sauce and once you collect enough, you can craft them in the popup. Let's take a look at what they're used for:

1h Speed Sauce

Speeds up your cooking time by 1 hour. You can tap on a dish cooking on the stove and use this sauce.

8h Speed Sauce

Speeds up your cooking time by 8 hours. You can tap on a dish cooking on the stove and use this sauce.

Wholesale Sauce

Sells a dish from a counter or a stove directly and earns you the total amount of coins you'd earn by selling the dish to customers. You can tap on dishes that are on the counter or waiting on stoves and use this sauce.

Spoil Saver Sauce

Saves the spoiled dishes. You can tap on a spoiled dish on the stove and use this sauce.

Don't be shy when using sauces and you can craft many along the way!

What are Drops and where can I get them?

Drops are used in crafting sauces and they are a chef's best friends!

There are 12 different drops and they can be earned from all kinds of actions in the game from cleaning floors to visiting, serving dishes to hosting celebrities and more...

You can see how many drops you have in the sauce popup and you also get a notification from Grandpa Tony when a sauce is ready to be crafted!

What are Vouchers and where can I get them?

Vouchers are used for unlocking special dishes, building/charging items and expanding your cafe!

There are various ways to earn vouchers and usually it's a bit of a luck situation as the drop rates differ from one another while the golden voucher is the hardest to get. Celebrities, spin, visiting and kitchen actions are great sources for winning vouchers. Remember, the higher your cafe rating is, the higher the chance of getting a bonus reward from celebrities!

How do I build an item?

Some items need to be built first in order to be used. The indicator of a buildable item is an orange hammer right next to the picture in the decoration menu. When you see a buildable item, you can tap on the "i" icon to see how many vouchers you need to build that item.

Please note that these items come in a box which can't be stored or sold, so make sure you have enough space in your cafe to keep the item until you build it!

How do I store dishes?

In the fridge of course! :)

You can buy a fridge from the premium section in your decoration menu and place it in your cafe. Once you have a fridge, you can tap on dishes that are on the counter and store them in the fridge. This helps keeping the dishes fresh and giving you extra space for preparing/serving more dishes!

You can also increase the capacity of your fridge to store more food! Currently the maximum storing capacity is 80000 servings.

What are Special Sets?

Special item sets look good together and they are useful for your business as well!

All special set items boost a food category and when you bring together all pieces of a set, you get a bonus buff such as 3x tips from customers! You can buy special set items using "Favor" which is a game unit that can be received from various actions such as catering bonus orders, celebrity level up rewards, e-Business gifts, etc.

Once you buy a set item, it goes to your inventory and you can place it from there. And if you sell these items, you can buy them for FREE again later!

How do cashiers work?

You should always have a cashier in your cafe in order to open it for business. You can buy a till point from the decoration menu and then choose a cashier from the avatar section. 

Some cashiers are specialists and they boost your business in various ways such as shortening the celebrity arrival time or giving you more time with catering orders. You can unlock these specialist cashiers with cash and assign them to the till point you wish to use.

What are achievements?

Apart from the normal quests, achievements are long-term tasks that you need to complete and completing them is a great way to earn cash!

Each achievement has 3 steps and you receive gift cash each time you complete a step. You'll see an exclamation point on the achievements button or Eva will remind you to accept your achievement gift when you complete one.

PS: The Expansion Master achievement can be done by expanding your cafe to the last 3 expansions (23x23, 24x24, 25x25).

What's Lucky Chef Spin and how does it work?

Spin is a mini game where you can win seasonal items and other rewards including vouchers, spin tokens, cash, sauces and more! The seasonal items change every Tuesday night and a new spin starts. 

In order to spin the wheel, you must have either a spin token or a "free spin" which is available every 12 hours. You can also spin the wheel with cash or buy spin tokens from the bank where you can find special discounts!

Please note that the spin restart date and time might change sometimes and you might not see a new spin on your game for a while. If this happens, just keep calm and cook dishes because we'll definitely be working on the issue! :)

How do I have a party?

You can see parties by tapping on the party building or on your main menu. All parties have different tasks that you need to complete in order to start it. And once the task is completed, you can start the party with Coins!

All parties boost the income of the dishes from 3 different food categories. If you have dishes from these categories, you'll be selling more of them at the party. So, just check out the categories on the party popup and cook some of those dishes to make a profit!

In order to open the doors to your customers, you also need to place some decorations. When you're ready, you can enjoy watching party guests, popping bubbles and making tip combos!

What are sticker packs and how do I level up parties?

Sticker packs contain party stickers which are used to level up parties. You can win them from various sources such as the spin, bonus rewards from other features and parties themselves!

There are 2 types of sticker packs; green and purple ones. The green packs are normal ones which provide random stickers. Please note that duplicates might come out of this pack but you earn some rewards if it's a duplicate sticker; so there's no losing! The purple packs can be bought with cash on the party popup and they provide you with unique stickers. So, you will 100% get a new one that you don't already have.

As you collect stickers, you'll see that they go to your parties on the popup, so you can level up parties with them. When you have all four parts of the same color for a party, you'll level it up!

What do I get from parties?

Tons of things, of course!

* One of the best perks of having parties is that you sell more of some specific category dishes at each party which means a bigger profit! You can check which categories sell more on the party screen.

* Another good one is collecting surprise gifts in bubbles appearing on screen while you are having a party. The gifts range from dishes to game units such as cash, spin tokens, drops, etc.

* While a party is on, the tips you collect are more important than normal ones because you can make tip combos if you collect them fast enough!

* And last but not the least; Sticker Packs!

Be it for profit or just for fun, parties are great in Cafeland!

How do I complete catering orders?

Each order has 3 normal order boxes and 2 bonus boxes. You only need to fill the normal ones to send the truck but if you fill the bonus ones, you'll get more rewards in return!

The catering orders can be for specific dishes or food categories in general. If it's a specific dish, you need to cook the needed amount and fill the box with it. And if it's a food category, you need to choose a dish from that category, cook it and fill the box. You can only fill the boxes with 1 type of dish, so you'll need the full amount before you see the "Fill" button on the box.

If the order has a Golden Hat at the corner, it means you can only fill that box if you have mastered that dish. Only the servings that you cooked after you mastered that dish will be counted.

Sending the catering truck is a great way to collect golden vouchers! They are the most valuable rewards apart from spin tokens, favors or coins!

You have a specific amount of time to finish the orders and this time might change according to the order. Once you get a catering order and complete it or send away the truck empty, a cooldown starts. You need to wait for 4 hours before a new order arrives or you can get them immediately using cash. Just tap on the catering building to see the order status and speed up the process.

Where is the cookbook?

We're planning on adding a cookbook button to the game so that you can see your menu even if your stoves are full, but it might take some time. So, for now, please use empty stoves or the guide buttons in quests to open the cookbook.

Where is the avatar button?

You can change your chef and cashiers from the profile screen. Just tap on your level to  open your profile and then tap on the avatar button on the right.

What are cafe clubs?

Clubs are places where you can gather with other players and achieve awesome things!

You can either create a new club or join one which is already created by another player. All clubs can have 30 players maximum and they can be set as public or invitation only. The preferred language, level and club badge are set by the leader. Be sure to add a clear description to your club to attract players' attention!

After you join the club, you will be able to participate in the Tournaments. Each member of the Cafe Club will get a list of tasks, and they'll try to complete them in time and make the most contribution to their club. At the end of each Tournament Season participants get rewards according to their contributions! More info can be found under the Leagues help article.

Also, members of the Clubs can chat with each other, can ask for help with certain tasks. 

What are club reward boxes?

There are 3 types of boxes; bronze, silver or golden. The value of the gifts in them change according to the box type. 

 The box types that you get will be changing according to the league you're in. So, it'll be more important to work as a team and complete as many tasks as you can to move your club to higher leagues. More info can be found in the Leagues help article.

I accidentally purchased cash, coin, voucher etc. Can I get it back?

The short answer to this question is no, unfortunately you cannot get it back. While we understand that spending cash on unwanted items accidentally can be frustrating, since it is not possible to take the item / action back, giving you back your cash/gem/voucher would be unfair to other players. But, if you lose something because of a crash etc, feel free to send us a ticket so we check the issue.
