Where Can I Purchase Clothing And Decor?
Clothing and decor can be purchased from shops within City Girl Life. To access the shops, click the shops button near the bottom of the screen and select a shop to enter.
Some shops (including Sprees, Private Reserves and Collections) are only available for a limited time.
You can also find decor items for sale by click the decor tab, then the featured or market tab.
In addition to clothing and decor items available for purchase, items can be won from spinning the wheel in the Video Lotto, Cafe Spinner and various Sprees
What's The Difference Between A Decor Bundle And Decor Collection?
Before the items of a Decor Collection are available for sale individually, we offer all the items together as a Decor Bundle. Bundles are usually a less expensive way to buy the entire collection and most often include additional bonus items such as wallpaper or flooring.
How Do I Rotate Items In City Girl Life?
Decor items in your apartment can be moved and rotated for better placement. To move or rotate an item, enter the decor mode by clicking the "decor" button.To move an item, click it and move the mouse to the desired location, then click again.
To rotate, hover over the item and click the rotate icon. Each click rotates the item 90 degrees, unless blocked. If an item will not rotate to the position you want, try moving the item away from other objects first.
Where Are My Items Stored?
Decor items can be found in your storage. To access your storage, click on Décor and then click the Storage tab.
To place an item into storage, click the Décor button then mouse over the item you want to store. With the item highlighted, click on the box icon and it will be added to your storage.
Important Reminder: This section will not contain any consumables as those are stored in the Items section. To access click on the Inventory button, click on box icon (next to Décor) labeled "my items".
How Do I Sell Items In City Girl Life?
To sell an item, click on Décor and then mouse over the item you want to sell. Once it is highlighted, click the $ icon to sell it.
Clothing can not be sold.
Gold, Glam And Coins
How Do I Get More Gold, Glam Or Coins?
Currency, in the form of Gold, Glam and Coins, is gained in a number of ways in City Girl Life.
You can increase your currency amounts through regular game play such as visiting friends, completing mission steps, leveling up, going to work, etc.
You also have the option to purchase additional currency from the "purchase" tab in the game or by clicking the plus sign next to each currency type.
Additionally, free Gold can be gained by clicking the "earn gold" button at the bottom of the "purchase" tab screen and completing offers. These offers are available through a third party provider.
I Completed A Survey Or Offer That Promised Gold, But I Didn’t Receive It.
Rewards for free Gold offers from the "earn gold" page are facilitated by TrialPay. Any inquiries regarding offer completion and Gold credits should be directed to their support team.

Though usually instantaneous, it can take up to 24 hours for currency purchases to be credited to your game.
If you have not received your purchased currency, please submit a support ticket including your user ID (found just below the City Girl Life game window), date of purchase and item(s) purchased.
What Happened To My Gold?
Missing Gold is most often caused by accidental purchases. Common accidental purchases include crafting recipe buyouts, gift spree buyouts and decor / clothing collection bundle purchases.
You can minimize the risk of an accidental purchase by avoiding clicking buttons with the Gold bar image on them.
If you are concerned about your gold total, please open a support ticket. Our customer service agents can help you understand where your gold has gone, and may be able to offer you a refund.
Why Doesn't The Earn Gold Button Work?
If you click the "Earn Gold" button and nothing happens, please make sure all pop-up or ad-blockers are turned off. Once the pop-up or ad-blockers are off, you should be able to participate in Trial Pay offers.
Ads
How Do I Stop Ads?
Ads can be turned off by making a purchase within the game. Ads remain disabled for 45 days after your most recent purchase.
VIP subscribers never see ads!
How Often Should I See Ads?
There are four types of ads you might see in City Girl Life.
Loading ads appear when you load the game.
Cafe ads appear when you leave The Grounds to return to your apartment or visit a friend. These ads play only once an hour, no matter how many times you leave The Grounds.
Idle ads appear when your game has been idle for three minutes. These ads will continue to play until you return to the game and vanish as soon as you move the mouse.
Video Lotto ads play when you choose to watch them. Watching these ads rewards you with free spins on the Video Lotto. You can find the Video Lotto by clicking the blue present icon in the top right of the game window.
Why Aren't Video Lotto Ads Available?
Ad availability is dependent upon your location and demographics. At times, ads may become unavailable to you. If you receive a message that no ads are available, please try again later.
My Game Crashes Whenever An Ad Loads.
If you have a popup blocker enabled (either one that comes with your web browser or one that you installed on your computer separately), this can cause the game to crash when an ad attempts to load. To prevent this, disable or uninstall all popup blockers.
If your game is crashing only on one specific ad, it could be that this ad is causing a problem. Please report it to us by opening a support ticket and describing the ad (what product it’s for, for example), so that we can look into having it removed or fixed.
Reporting Inappropriate Ads
Please report any offensive ads to us by opening a support ticket and describing it (what product it’s for and what you found offensive about it). We will take a look into the situation and remove the ad if it is deemed inappropriate.
Missions And Careers
What Are Crafting Missions?
Crafting missions are recurring events, typically lasting 10 days. These events have multiple steps, each with approximately 3 tasks. These tasks require crafting items and performing other actions in the game.
Once you've completed all the mission steps, you receive the mission reward.
There are usually multiple missions running at a time. Each mission can be found along the left side of the game window.
Don't forget to read the mission dialog as it provides valuable information!
How Do Crafters Work?
Crafting missions require you to place certain items (crafters) in your apartment that will allow you to craft items needed to complete mission tasks.
Some of the items may have recipes that require you to request gifts from friends, find ingredients or craft smaller items first. Once you have collected all of the ingredients required, you may then craft the item.
Please note, you are not required to spend Gold in order to complete crafting an item. However you do have the option to use Gold to purchase necessary ingredients or skip or speed up the crafting process.
I Just Crafted An Item And I Never Received It.
At times, crafted items may fail to drop when collected.
If you've finished crafting an item but did not receive it, please try reloading your game. This normally causes the item to drop or otherwise appear in your inventory.
It is also possible that your crafted item was immediately consumed upon collection. This is the case if you are finishing a mission step. Any items required to complete a mission step are immediately consumed when the step is complete.
What Are Gifting Missions?
Like Crafting Missions, Gifting Missions typically last 10 days. Each mission has a theme and requires players to collect a certain number of a specified item each day. These items are collected by requesting and receiving from neighbors. Once the specified number of an item is collected, that day of the mission is finished.
Although the mission itself last for 10 days, a player may complete an unfinished Gifting Mission at any time. As long as one of the items for a specific day is in the player's inventory, that player may request more of the item from neighbors and work towards completing the mission.
How Do I Go To Work?
Once you've selected a career, just click on the "Go to Work" button on the lower right side of your screen or click on the front door of your apartment and choose "Go to Work."
Don't forget you'll also need to a Metro Pass to go to work; these are automatically used when you travel to work. You can request more Metro Passes from your friends and send them via Free Gifts.
How Do I Change My Career In City Girl Life?
To change your career, click on the "Go to Work" button on the bottom right side of your screen, and then click the "Change Career" button on the window that opens.
You can change careers as often as you like without losing progress.
How Do I Progress In My Career / Raise My Skills In City Girl Life?
To progress your career in City Girl Life you'll need to complete tasks and level your skills. To see what skills you currently have, click the inventory button along the bottom right side of your screen and then click the Skills tab.
Different jobs and tasks will require you to raise your skills. To do so, you need to interact with something in your apartment that lets you practice you skill. Icons on certain items will match skill icons, showing which skill each item helps build.
Neighbors And Gifts
The Gifts I've Accepted Are Not Dropping.
If you've accepted a gift but it did not appear in the game, try the following:
Do an action within your apartment. This often triggers the system to drop your gift at the same time.
Reload the game. This almost always resolves any issues with items not being received.
How Many Gifts Can I Accept Each Day?
You can accept up to 50 gifts per day.
VIP subscribers are able to accept more than 50 gifts per day, depending on subscription level. VIP gift limits can be found in the VIP tab within the game.
Why Does The Game Say I Have Accepted All My Gifts Today When I Haven’t?
When you enter the game through a Facebook notification, Facebook automatically accepts as many gifts for you as it can. To avoid accepting gifts you may not want, enter the game through the game link or your bookmark and manually select which gifts you want to accept.
My New Friends Aren't Appearing In My Neighbor Bar.
New City Girl Life friends may take up to 24 hours to appear in gifting popups and the neighbor bar.
Because only 50 neighbors are displayed at a time, your new friends may not appear in your neighbor bar. The neighbor bar repopulates each day with the 50 friends who have most recently logged in.
What Are The Red Arrows On My Neighbors' Tabs?
The red arrows in your neighbor bar show which of your relationships are degrading. It's important to interact with your neighbors to keep relationships at higher levels. Once you've visited a friend and interacted with her, the red arrow will disappear.

My Game Is Not Loading Or Is Running Slowly.
If you are having trouble getting the game to load or run smoothly, please try the following:

On What Operating Systems And Web Browsers Can I Play City Girl Life?
City Girl Life is supported on Windows XP and above in the latest versions of Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome, and on Mac OS X in the latest versions of Safari, Firefox, and Chrome.
Flash enabled mobile browsers may run City Girl Life. However, we are unable to help troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise with these browsers.
How Do I Uninstall Or Reinstall The App?
To uninstall the City Girl Life app from Facebook, follow these steps:
Go to www.facebook.com/settings
On the left hand side, click Apps.
Locate City Girl Life and click the X to the right of it to remove it.
Once you remove the app, it will not post on your timeline. However, all of your game data will be there if you would like to return to the game.
To reinstall City Girl Life, simply go to apps.facebook.com/citygirllife
If you are a VIP subscriber, you must re-activate your subscription from the VIP tab to avoid subscription cancellation.

Can I Play City Girl Life Somewhere Other Than On Facebook?
No. City Girl Life is only available on Facebook.
How Do I Clear My Browser Cache?
Clearing the browser cache is often the quickest and easiest way to clear up some issues you may be experiencing with the game. Here is how to clear the cache on some of the most popular browsers:
Internet Explorer:
click TOOLS - INTERNET OPTIONS.
To the right of Browsing History click DELETE.
To the right of Temporary Internet Files, click DELETE FILES.
Then click YES (It may take a couple of minutes).
When complete, click CLOSE
Click OK.
Firefox (Windows):
Click TOOLS - OPTIONS.
Under ADVANCED click the NETWORK tab
then click CLEAR NOW, (It may take a couple minutes).
When complete click OK.

In The Daily Look, Some People Get Thousands Of Votes, While I Only Get Ten, If I’m Lucky. How Are They Doing It? Are They Cheating?
No, they aren’t cheating. There is a bug that causes some players to get a lot more votes than others. It’s extremely elusive and we are working on it, but do not have an estimate of when it will be fixed.
In the meantime, one way to get more votes is to post the link to your “Ask for Votes” posts to fan groups, so that people will vote for you through them.
How Do I Turn On And Off The Sound/Music In City Girl Life?
To toggle the music and sound in City Girl Life, first click on the Gears Icon along the top left side of the game. This will bring up a menu with a few new icons. The first and second icons on this menu will be the Sound and Music Toggles. Simply click on either icon to toggle Sound and Music on and off. These options can be changed at any time, so feel free to turn off Sound and Music at your leisure.
When Does The New Day Start, So That My Gift Count And My Neighbor Visit Energy Resets?
The new day starts at 12:01 a.m. PST, which is 1:01 a.m. MST, 2:01 a.m. CST, 3:01 a.m. EST, and 8:01 a.m. UTC.

What do I get for becoming a VIP Club member?
VIP Club members receive Diamonds every day, which can be used to buy exclusive items in the Vault as well as other in-game items. VIP Club members also enjoy other in-game perks, such as a 10% discount on the price of Daily Deals, and no ads. More exclusive content and perks are coming soon!
What are Diamonds and what can I get for them?
Diamonds are rewards exclusive to VIP Club members. You can spend Diamonds in the store called the Vault, to purchase exclusive clothing and decor and other items.
How do I get my percentage off the Daily Deal?
When you see a Daily Deal, your extra discount will be automatically calculated and displayed for you.
How do I find out how many Diamonds I have?
Go to the Vault. Your Diamond total is displayed there, in the upper left hand corner.
How can I get more Diamonds?
Diamonds are only available to VIP Club members. When you become a member and when your membership renews each month, you'll receive an initial reward of Diamonds, and then you'll receive a small reward of Diamonds every day for the rest of your monthly membership.
Will there be more things to buy in the Vault?
Yes. Every month, one new clothing items and one new decor item will debut in the Vault. These new items will be available for two months (with a timer so you know how long they'll be there), so that you have plenty of time to save up your Diamonds to buy them. In addition, other new items will appear in the store. If they don't have a timer, then that means they'll be there for a long time. (If they will be removed from the Vault, a timer will appear to let you know when, and it'll be a good long time.)
Do I have to be a VIP Club member to buy items in the Vault?
Anyone can enter, view items in, and buy items from the Vault, but everything in there costs Diamonds, and the only way to get them is to be a member.
VIP Club Membership Details
How long does my monthly membership last?
Monthly memberships last from the date of purchase to the same date the next month. So, for example, if you join up on April 18, your membership will last until May 18, when it is automatically renewed for the next month. This does mean that your membership varies from 28 to 31 days, depending on the month.
If you purchase your membership at the end of a month and the next month doesn't have that date, your membership will be renewed on the last day of the month; the month after, your membership will be renewed on the original date. Example: You purchased your membership on January 31. The next month, February, doesn't have 31 days, so instead, your members is renewed on February 28. The month after, March, does have 31 days, so your membership is renewed on March 31.
How much does it cost to upgrade my VIP Club rank?
If you are already a member of the VIP Club and you want to upgrade to a higher rank, you will be charged a pro-rated amount for the remaining time in your current monthly membership.
For example, if you have 10 days (out of 30) left in your membership this month and you upgrade from Bronze ($1) to Silver ($5), the difference between the memberships is $4. However, you only have 10 days left in your membership, so you'll be charged the pro-rated amount for the upgrade, which is $1.33.
Please note that when you upgrade to a new VIP Club rank, the Facebook popup that tells you what you are upgrading to will show the price of the new rank, which in the example is $5, and not the pro-rated amount you'll actually be charged.
When I try to upgrade my VIP Club, it says it'll charge me the full price of the new rank. Why am I paying the full price when I should just be charged the difference?
The price you're seeing is displayed by Facebook, and it's showing you not what you're going to pay right now, but what you'll be paying the next time your membership is renewed. Unfortunately, this display is controlled by Facebook and we can't change it. The amount you'll pay immediately upon upgrade is the difference between your old rank's price and your new rank's price, pro-rated for the number of days left you have in your monthly membership.
What happens if I upgrade from one membership level to another?
Facebook charges you the difference between the costs of the two membership levels, pro-rated for the number of days left in your monthly membership. You then receive in the game the difference between the first day's rewards of the two membership levels, pro-rated for the number of days left in your monthly membership, plus the current day's daily reward for the new membership level (minus the daily reward for the old membership level, if you've already received that today). Any other benefits that are better in the new membership level also go into effect.

What happens if I downgrade from one membership level to another?
Downgrades take effect on the next monthly membership date. You do not receive a refund for the days remaining in your current monthly membership and you continue to receive all the benefits of your original membership level. When your monthly membership renews, it will be for the new membership level: you will be charged at that level and begin receiving the benefits of that level.
What happens if I cancel my membership?
Cancellations take effect on the next monthly membership date. You do not receive a refund for the days remaining in your current monthly membership and you continue to receive all the benefits of your membership. When your monthly membership renewal comes up, your membership will be cancelled: you will not be charged and you will no longer receive any membership benefits.
How can I see my membership details?
There are two ways to see your membership details. The first is on the VIP Club panel, which you can get to by clicking the "VIP" tab above the game. This will display your current monthly membership level and the benefits you're receiving.
The other way is on the Facebook Subscriptions page. To get there:
1. Click on the down-arrow button that's on the far right of the blue Facebook bar at the top of the page.
2. Select "Settings".
3. In the left menu, click "Payments".
4. In the list that appears, click "View" to the right of "Subscriptions".
This will display a list of all of your subscriptions to applications on Facebook. From here, you can change your membership status in City Girl Life's VIP Club.
Why Am I Asked For Photo Permission In The Daily Look Contest?
When City Girl asks you to share your Daily Look, we will also now add a picture of your Daily Look in a Facebook photo album for you. Since this is a new feature, some players will see a Facebook permissions pop-up to allow those pictures to be added to a photo album. Here are the steps that you should take and what happens when you agree to the permissions:
Once you submit your Daily Look, you will be asked to share your look, and you will see a screenshot of your outfit. Clicking Continue with the Sharebox checked will show you a Facebook pop-up for posting to your Facebook wall along with the screenshot that will be used. This will happen every time you create a Daily Look.
Unless you are new to City Girl, you will now see another pop-up from Facebook. This pop-up is asking your permission to "Your photos," which means that a City Girl Life photo album will be created for you. (This pop-up does not give City Girl access to any other pictures.) If you accept by clicking Play Now, the City Girl Life album will be created, and all Daily Look photos will be added to this album. If you do not accept the permission (by clicking Not Now), the City Girl Life album will not be created, and no Daily Look images will be saved to your account. Please note that your Daily Look would still be in the post that is shared to your wall.
Once you have clicked either Play Now or Not Now, the Facebook pop-up will close and the pop-up for sharing your look can be seen again. (Steps 2 and 3 may be swapped for some players, where the Share Your Look pop-up appears before the Permissions pop-up.)
If you click Share without accepting the new permission, the post will be shared to your Timeline only. If you click Share and accept the new permission, the post will be shared to your Timeline and to your friend's walls.
If you click Cancel, no posts will be shared.

How to Use a Promo Code
Log into City Girl Life.
Click the "Promo" tab. It is located in the bar above the game.
Enter your promo code in the provided box. Be sure to enter it exactly as it was given to you. Don't add any extra spaces or change small letters to capitals.
4. Click on the "SUBMIT" button.
5. If the Promo Code is active and valid, you'll see the reward that you earned.
Click the "PLAY GAME" button to go into the game and see your reward!
How To Get The Professional Home Slot
In order to unlock the Professional Home slot, players will need to complete both their Career Missions and their Career Promotion Progress in two different career paths. Please note that the UL Engineer does not count as a valid career path to unlock the Professional Home.
Career Missions are separate from the Career Promotion Progress and appear on the left side of the screen along with all other missions.

Is There A Limit To Espresso, Cappuccino And Mocha Shake Drinks That You Can Use?
You can use Espresso, Cappuccino and Mocha Shake items to refill your City Girls Energy needs.
Espresso fills 1 Energy
Cappuccino fills 3 Energy
Mocha Shake fills 5 Energy
Your City Girl can use up to 25 Espresso drinks per day and an unlimited number of the Cappuccino and Mocha Shake drinks.
I Play The Store Spree For 8 Gold, But I Never Seem To Win All Of The Items, Why?
All of the spinners in the game (the Store Spree, the Grounds Raffle, and the City Spree) are games of chance. Sometimes you’ll be lucky and win everything quickly, and other times, it might take quite a few spins.
Here are some thing to note about the Store Spree.
When you win clothing or a pet, that prize is replaced by a consolation prize, usually wallpaper or currency.
Decor items are not replaced by a consolation prize, so it is possible to win multiples of them.
The Store Spree does try to help you win all of the prizes. When you win a new prize, if you don’t win another new prize after a certain number of subsequent spins, you’re guaranteed to get something new. This helps you win the prizes faster by preventing you from spinning indefinitely without eventually winning all the prizes and receiving the bonus reward.
What Are Neighbors And Why Are They Important In City Girl Life?
Neighbors are friends who you have connected with in the game. Neighbors are important to the game because you can visit their apartments for bonuses. Neighbors will also be important to your ability to unlock certain things in the game and will be helpful for sending and receiving gifts.
If your Facebook friend is playing City Girl Life, that person should be your neighbor! However, you will only see 50 neighbors at one time.
You can visit each one of your neighbors as many times as you like to earn coins, collectible items and more. Please note that your first 5 interactions with your friends are free and any additional actions after that will cost your energy. Additionally you do not receive gold for visiting neighbors.
How Do I Get More Energy In City Girl Life?
You may use items you collect through game play or via friends, such as espresso to obtain more energy. Additionally, you can wait for the energy bar to refill between play sessions or purchase more to keep playing immediately! Just click the green + icon that displays when you mouse over your energy bar to access these options.
How Do I View My Consumable Items In City Girl Life?
To view your items, click on the inventory button along the bottom right of your screen and click the Items tab. From here you may view all the items you currently have as well as request more from friends and purchase them directly for gold.
Important Reminder: This section will not contain any decorative items as those are stored in your Storage. To access to Storage, click on Décor and then the Storage Tab.
How Do I Go To Full Screen Mode In City Girl Life?
Getting to Full Screen is easy! Simply click on the Gears Icon along the top left side of the game, and then click on the Full Screen Icon from the menu that appears (the Full Screen icon will be the last icon shown).
How Do I Send Gifts And Invites In City Girl Life?
To send gifts to your neighbors in City Girl Life, open the game and click on the Free Gifts tab at the top of the game. This will bring you to a page that lists all available gift items.
To send Neighbor requests to your friends, click on the Invites button at the top of the game. This brings you to a page that will allow you to send neighbor requests to your friends. You will want to become neighbors with as many friends as you can because you will need a certain number of neighbors to unlock items and other content in the game. You can also visit the apartments of anyone you are neighbors with to earn more rewards.
How Do Participate In The Daily Look In City Girl Life?
Each new day brings you a new Daily Look challenge where you can compete and vote alongside other City Girl Life players to see who the real fashonista is! To participate, simply click on the Daily Look button along the bottom right hand side of your game screen. This will open the Daily Look interface where you can see enter the current daily contest by outfitting your avatar in a look that is sure to go well with the current scene. From here you can also vote on the other players Daily Looks and see the Results of previous Daily Look challenges.

XP stands for Experience Points. You will need to earn XP in order to gain levels. XP can be earned from completing quests and jobs. Gaining new levels unlocks new items in the store and provides other great rewards!

When you click on the �Messages� tab at the top of the game, the Message Center will appear. This center allows you to accept invites and gifts in one quick and easy location.
What Are All Of The Item Types Available For Purchase In City Girl Life?
There are many types of items available in City Girl Life. You will find different buttons for Shops, Décor, and apartments (For Rent) - simply click a button to explore your possibilities!
Décor / Market: Base items that are available for purchase coins, gold and gems.
Shops: Specialty boutiques that are unlocked as you progress through the game. These stores contain clothing and other specialty items that may be purchased for coins, gold and gems.
For Rent: Provides a list of properties that are available for rent. These apartments will become available for purchase as you progress through the game.
To customize your avatar click on your Dress icon next to the Store button located along the bottom left of your screen. From there you will be able to customize your hair cut, hair color, features, and clothing.
How Do I View My Skills In City Girl Life?
To view your skills, simply click on the inventory button on the bottom right side of the screen and then click the skills tab.
What Are The Gift Limits In City Girl Life?
The maximum daily gifts each player can send is unlimited. You may send out as many gifts and requests as you want.
You can hold up to 300 gifts in the "My Gifts" section of the Message Center.
-Non-VIP members have a 60 gift limit
-Bronze VIP members have a 70 gift limit
-Silver VIP members have a 80 gift limit
-Gold VIP members have a 95 gift limit
-Platinum VIP members have a 120 gift limit
