🌴FarmVille Tropic Escape-Upcoming Game Updates🌴

Now, on to the changes!

Time required to gain XP & levels
Crafting difficulty – timers & Ingredients
Sand Dollars – collection and market costs
Better Daily Request Rewards

Leveling!

Let’s be honest, it took the patience of a saint to gain levels past 30. We made this too challenging at the highest levels and now we’re taking a look at creating a more balanced experience. For starters, the levels will be shorter than before, but additionally, there will be some better ways to gain XP.
From a design perspective, we want levels to feel more challenging as you get higher and higher. That said, we also want them to feel achievable. It’s about striking the right balance between challenge and accomplishment. Each day, we’d like you to feel that you’ve made some progress.
To any of you who are at Level 40, let me just say this: you guys are superstars!
Levels past 20 are faster and it takes millions less XP to reach Level 51
Finishing the Helicopter Orders give more Coins and XP
Crafting high level items give more XP

Crafting

What’s our design philosophy when it comes to crafting?
First, let me put on my designer hat.
Basically, it comes down to the balance between challenge and achievability. If you could make anything in the game without waiting, it would get boring somewhat immediately. And on the flip side, if it took days and hundreds of Ingredients to make items, it would get equally as frustrating immediately. Therefore, it’s our goal to create a balance between these two ends of the spectrum in order to deliver the most fun game possible. In other words, you can feel productive crafting things but you’ll run into some challenges along the way.
We have a saying on development team: “Always Be Crafting.” It’s one of the best strategies while playing the game. Just keep your Workshops productive and cooking out new products to sell to the ever so demanding resort Guests. If your Workshop is empty, you’re missing out on useful Coins and Experience.
What does that mean for FarmVille: Tropic Escape?
The bottom line is that we felt it was too difficult to make some items and also too difficult to keep every Workshop productive. We want everyone to live the ABC philosophy in practice, not just as a theory, which is what we’re addressing.
Here are a few of the changes you can expect in the latest release:
Sea Glass Earrings no longer require Silver
Salt Scrub now requires 1 Sea Salt (previously 2)
Shrimp Skewers now require 1 Shrimp (previously 2)
Sunstone, Quickstone, and Wealthstone crafting timers and Ingredient requirements reduced Reduced timers for the Explorer Bag, Sushi Boat, Badminton Kit, Sea Glass Earrings, Grappling Hook, Seasoning Shakers, Chocolate Macadamia Cookie, Scented Soap, and Perfume
All players can now exchange Guests every six hours within their Beach Clubs

Sand Dollars

We haven’t been happy with how it feels to collect and to spend Sand Dollars. The Gold Sand Dollar ones were just too tough to find! Nothing is as frustrating as finishing a few Helicopter Orders in a row just to get a Bronze Sand Dollar each time.
This release was to put a little more power back in your hands. Here are some of the changes:
Odney the Monkey Guide is now available for 4 Bronze Sand Dollars & 2 Silver Sand Dollars (previously 3 Bronze, 1 Silver, 1 Gold). He’s quite useful for finding rare parts for your Boathouse & Silo, so we wanted to make him accessible without giving up your previous Gold Sand Dollars.
It is easier to earn Gold & Silver Sand Dollars from completing Helicopter Orders!
The costs for extra Trees in the market were significantly reduced.
(We have another important change coming soon, but we’ll save the details for later!)

Daily Request:

The Daily Request is one of my personal favorite tasks in FarmVille: Tropic Escape. When we designed it, the goal was to offer a reasonably sized challenge which would reward consistency – in other words, it’s not intended to be overly challenging. Once you’ve finished it, you’re done for the day! Check it off your list and collect your reward. And although it can be tough to keep a streak going, it’s never too difficult to get in there and give those Island Guests what they need!
Unfortunately, the rewards from the Daily Requests just weren’t awesome enough for players who kept an incredible streak going. We wanted to address that and reward players with consistently successful Resorts. Here are a few of the changes you can expect in the next release:
All Mystery Chest rewards now increase with the size of your streak! The higher your streak, the better your chances are of earning multiple great rewards. For example, you can win up to 6 Treasure Keys if you have a massive streak.
You can now sometimes earn Sand Dollars and Treasure Keys by completing the Daily Requests. Along with special Wildlife items, such as Acai Berries, Shrimp, Sea Salt, Feathers, and Jungle Vines.

What’s next?

In a release coming soon, we’ll be taking a look at improving the Wildlife Center. Thanks for reading and we hope you found this useful. The Development team is always looking for ways to make FarmVille: Tropic Escape as fun as possible!
